The conversion kit has been made to fit the Italeri White Scout car.  Other white scout cars (Zvezda. MAX etc) can also be used but some adjustments may need to be made:
 

• Hull top
• left and right doors to fit hull
• Machine gun turret with two part hatch
• 2 x MG34 machine gun barrels
• 2 x perforated steel sand channels
• 2 x front wheels
• 2 x rear wheels
• 1 x spare wheel
• rear stowage box

This makes into a Type 3 hull IDF White scout car based model.  The IDF had at least major three hull designs for this type of machine gun armed vehicles.  Then there were cannon armed versions as well.  These were used from may 1948 onwards - some were still seen in parades and used for training until 1957.

MA204 1/35 IDF Improvised armoured car based on the Dodge Weapons Carrier (Bambi) conversion set

The conversion kit has been made to fit the Italeri Dodge 4x4 weapons carrier.  Other weapons carriers (Zvezda. MAX etc) can also be used but some adjustments may need to be made for the resin parts to fit:
 

• one piece hull top and bonnet
• machine gun turret
• two turret hatches
• metal MG34 machine gun barrel
• 2 x aerial mounts
• floor panel

The top image shows the basic Italeri Weapons Carrier hull ready for the resin parts to be added.

MA205 1/35 IDF improvised armoured car based on the M5 half track conversion set

The conversion kit comes with:
 

• large one piece hull top and driver's cab
• Daimler Mk.II turret with 37mm gun (Jordi Rubio metal barrel)
• machine gun turret with MG34 barrel
• battery box

This one off IDF vehicle has a front mounted winch and therefore you will need to base it on the Tamiya M16/M21 half tracks. You use the suspension and front end only.

This is a complete upper hull and floor with turret and machine guns.  It was a locally built armoured car based on a 15cwt truck chassis so you will need to get hold of an Italeri/ Max 15cwt CMP truck.

This conversion is based on the Italeri 15cwt CMP truck (kit 233).  It provides an open topped sandwich armoured body with internal seats. NEW

This conversion can be used to make the MA207 above into a slightly later version that had an armoured roof with hinged hatches (known as butterflies) used when firing from the vehicle. NEW

Several White scout car based  armoured cars were up gunned with the barrel from the Hotchkiss H39 tanks captured from the Syrians during the War of Independence (1948-49)

This is the simplest conversion in that the resin hull top simply fits onto an existing M3 Scout car
