I found the captions very informative and Marsh picks out the interesting points in each image.  Images have been taken from areas not normally accessed by authors including some time spent with Israel Tal himself.

The book has both small detailed photos as well as large format full page photos.   I had gone off modern IDF tanks including the Merkava but this book has rekindled and interest especially in the Merkava 2 hybrid (something unusual).  Well done Marsh Gelbart - the best book on the subject anywhere today.
