AEF Designs Achzarit in 1/35 scale

• Part list includes: Hull bottom, hull top, 2 side armour panels, 2 side skirts, rear door, 4 sprues of smaller parts, Esci/AMT plastic tracks and suspension arms, resin cast idler, drive sprocket and road wheels (ESCI / AMT copies).
• 6 page instruction sheet
• well packed in clip lock bags, large pieces in a bubble wrap and everything in a foam bead larger box.
• only a few air bubbles
• cast in light grey resin
• some mould seams need to be cleaned up
• no warpage on my model
• I had two small areas of cleaning up as a result of blobs of resin being in places where they should not have been due to some mould deterioration
• fits together well
• lots of fine detail

The complete kit KI 105 retails for about $US135.00 plus postage.  I got mine from direct from AEF Designs and received it within a reasonable time.  The kit is available as a conversion where you supply the lower hull and suspension KI-708 $US87.50 plus postage.  The AEF Designs website is www.aefdesigns.com.

It should be remembered that this is basically a one man operation and a spare time job.  There are a number of these cottage industries who make parts and models that will never be made by the major manufacturers.  He also seems to have excellent contacts to get the information that he has to base the kit/conversions on.
