AEF Designs Puma in 1/35 scale

• Part list includes: Hull bottom, hull top, 2 side skirts, rear door, 4 sprues of smaller parts.
• 6 page instruction sheet
• well packed in clip lock bags, large pieces in a bubble wrap and everything in a foam bead larger box.
• only a few air bubbles
• cast in light grey resin
• some mould seams need to be cleaned up
• no warpage on my model
• I had two small areas of cleaning up as a result of blobs of resin being in places where they should not have been due to some mould deterioration
• fits together well
• lots of fine detail

The complete kit is supposed to come with a complete suspension but mine did not.  I ended up using the centurion drive and idler from the centurion with Merkava 1 suspension units. I got mine from direct from AEF Designs and received it within a reasonable time.  It should be remembered that this is basically a one man operation and a spare time job.  There are a number of these cottage industries who make parts and models that will never be made by the major manufacturers.  He also seems to have excellent contacts to get the information that he has to base the kit/conversions on.

VERDICT: Recommended. I preferred this kit to the Achzarit (with interior) because the upper hull looks more busy with a myriad of surface detail.
