Australian Centurion Turret Basket views
 

The views of Australian Centurion turret baskets including detail shots show the major components of the structure.  Initially the turret baskets did not have any supports linking the rear of the basket to the rear of the turret.  With a full load over hard terrain the baskets would sag and therefore some supports were added.  These were initially Australian pattern star pickets (Mercedes Benz in cross section).

Note that some baskets had a sectioned off area for the rear turret cable reel.
